Claire Danes flashes a smile at the Showtime and Cinema Society premiere of her new television show Homeland at a private residence on Saturday (August 13) in East Hampton, NY.
The 32-year-old actress was joined at the event by her husband, Hugh Dancy.
Here’s a synopsis of the television show: Marine Sergeant Scott Brody (Damian Lewis) returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq, and Carrie Anderson (Danes), a driven CIA officer, suspects he might be plotting an attack on America.

Here is Claire Danes attending the TCA Summer Tour 2011 on August 4th.
This summer’s TCA events brought the stars out. The likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Claire Danes, and Amber Heard were only a few of TCA’s best-dressed attendees.
On August 3, Wednesday, CBS, The CW, and Showtime held a TCA party at the Pagoda in Beverly Hills. Claire was out and about for her upcoming Showtime series Homeland. The Golden Globe winner picked an easy-going yet chic dress from Coach Creative Director Reed Krakoff.
The sleeveless, color-block wrap dress looked like the perfect summertime outfit. It may not have been the best silhouette for Claire as the dress’ low waist wasn’t doing anything for her figure, but Claire made it work.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Claire Danes was spotted arriving at the 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards in Century City, California last night (November 5).
The “My So-Called Life” babe looked lovely as she made her way inside the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, sporting a beautiful black and white dress with black peep-toe heels.
In related news, Claire’s new project “Temple Grandin” is the true story of the scientist whose own autism allowed her unique insights into the behavior of cows and other livestock.
She told press, “They had long lashes and were so sweet. They were referred to as the HBO Cows because it was cheaper for HBO to buy them than rent them. So I dressed on Halloween as an HBO Cow. With an extension chord as a tail.”
