Claire Danes says she has started speaking like a Brit thanks to her husband. The actress has been married to actor Hugh Dancy for the past two years and she says the relationship has affected the way she talks. Danes, 31, said: ‘I feel deeply secure. My trust in Hugh continues to grow and that’s a wonderful thing.’
She told US magazine Ladies’ Home Journal: ‘British-speak has definitely infiltrated my language, too. ’I say ‘loo’ and ‘bloody’. I even say ‘car park’ instead of ‘parking lot’, which is horrifying to admit. The American actress - who starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet – also said she loves dancing. ’I have private dance parties with myself,’ she said. ‘Very frequently actually. I love me some Kanye West. Love me some Beyoncé. But I can dance with no music. I’m good to go.’

Oooh la la! Claire Danes has married her fiancé Hugh Dancy in an intimate wedding ceremony in France.
The Romeo and Juliet star met Hugh while the pair were shooting the film Evening two years ago and only announced their engagement in February.
The couple tied the knot a few weeks ago, but details have only just emerged of their small celebration.
Claire, 30, and Hugh, 34, were married in a low-key ceremony with just their families and a few close friends, a source told Life & Style magazine.
The couple’s relationship has always been down-to-earth, so it’s no surprise they would shun a huge A-list affair for their nuptials.
Mamie Gummer, who worked with the pair on Evening, told People that she watched Claire and Hugh fall in love over games of Scrabble on set!
And Claire seems to have the right approach to making a marriage go the distance.
‘While relationships are work, this just didn’t feel like it. It’s the kind of work that feels energising rather than enervating,’ she recently told BlackBook magazine.
‘I find it very freeing to know that, okay, it takes constant nurturing and attention, but I can also stop looking for the one.’

When the 30-year-old My So Called Lifeactress ties the knot with British actor Hugh Dancy, Claire will be wearing a wedding gown designed by Narciso.
Talking to People, Claire describes Narciso as a “very cheeky and playful and funny, kind and dear . . . one of my dear friends.”
When asked about working with him on the dress Claire said, “I’m so privileged. I’m collaborating a little bit, but I’m just trusting him implicitly. I’m offing my ideas, but they always pale in comparison to his.”

Claire Danes and her fiancé Hugh Dancy, along with the Accompanied Literary Society, feted a reading of author Jay McInerney’s new collection of short stories, “How It Ended”, Saturday night at the Montauk Yacht Club in the courtyard of the Ziegfeld Estate, a sources tells HinTH.
Designer Cynthia Rowley, The B-52’s Fred Schneider and “John Adams” director Tom Hopper attended the ’20s-themed event donned in their summer whites while Danes read McInerney’s “It’s Six A.M. Do You Know Where You Are?” followed by Dancy’s take on “The Waiter.”
The couple, who were guests of the hotel all weekend, spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor, enjoying ’20s tunes from Adam Dugas and the Fitzgerald Follies. Danes partied barefoot until the band officially called it a night, the source says, adding that the duo lounged in the courtyard all day Sunday.

Still glowing from her recent engagement, Claire Danes was all smiles at the 2009 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 21).
The “Stardust” starlet was accompanied to the annual ceremony by fiance Hugh Dancy, with the two posing side-by-side after Claire finished making her rounds to the VIP gift lounges.
The cute couple, who have been together for a little over a year, announced their engagement news just two weeks ago – shortly ahead of the release of Hugh’s new movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic”.
Meanwhile, Claire’s also looking forward to the release of ehr upcoming movie “Me and Orson Welles”, in which she stars alongside “High School Musical” heartthrob Zac Efron.
