Danes Flashes Ring
Gossip Girls – March 4, 2009
She’s always been pretty private when it comes to her personal life, but yesterday (March 4) Claire Danes showed off her new engagement ring for the world to see.
The “Igby Goes Down” hottie looked chic as she made her way to lunch with a friend in Beverly Hills, sporting a beige sweater with a colorful scarf teamed with a pair of jeans and black heels.
An enthusiastic fan of theater, Miss Danes is scheduled to appear at the 2009-2010 “Focus on Russia” series at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Showcasing various artists with disabilities, the upcoming season will feature everyone from the Mariinsky Balley and Opera performing “War and Peace” to a new play called “Golden Age.”

Spirit Awards
Gossip Girls – February 21, 2009

Still glowing from her recent engagement, Claire Danes was all smiles at the 2009 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 21).
The “Stardust” starlet was accompanied to the annual ceremony by fiance Hugh Dancy, with the two posing side-by-side after Claire finished making her rounds to the VIP gift lounges.
The cute couple, who have been together for a little over a year, announced their engagement news just two weeks ago – shortly ahead of the release of Hugh’s new movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic”.
Meanwhile, Claire’s also looking forward to the release of ehr upcoming movie “Me and Orson Welles”, in which she stars alongside “High School Musical” heartthrob Zac Efron.

Claire at Zac Posen
Gossip Girls – February 19, 2009
Making the most of her time at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, Claire Danes was spotted living it up at the Zac Posen runway show last night (February 19).
The “My So-Called Life” cutie looked excited to be in on the action as she arrived at the Bryant Park Promenade sporting a shiny white short-sleeved dress with black heels and a white handbag.
And it sounds like Posen’s presentation was an overwhelming success, with both the crowd and critics lavishing praise on the native New York designer.
The Wall Street Journal wrote, “The clothes were romantic, almost Victorian, yet completely modern and urban. Woolen tweedy jackets tossed together with flirty floral silks. This was a collection with full-on attitude and it electrified the room. Even the photographers toyed with the models. When Coco Rocha walked in a scarlet boucle jacket and orchid-colored skirt, one photographer shouted, ‘Now THAT’s a woman,’ causing Ms. Rocha to grin broadly as the audience laughed.”
